Judson Russell Grosvenor - World Traveler Based in Florida

With an expensive background of film production and world travel, Judson Russell Grosvenor is a dock hand at the Lauderdale Marina in Florida. His duties center around ensuring that water vessels such as yachts are properly tied up, berthed, and accounted for. As required, Judson Russell Grosvenor coordinates with local law enforcement in handling incidents that occur in the water.

One example of the latter situation occurred in November, 2021, when Mr. Grosvenor spotted a man through his binoculars floating down the Intracoastal Waterway. The victim was distressed, in pain, and not able to properly swim. He notified the water police, who brought the man back to the local marina. Ultimately it became clear that this man, who sustained injuries from a fall off the 17th Street Causeway Drawbridge as well as hypothermia, apparently attempted suicided following a domestic dispute.

Mr. Grosvenor’s travels have taken him to Central America and he was able to spearfish yellowfin tuna in the El Rio Negro region of Panama in 2019. That year he also fished and filmed blue marlin at sea off the Costa Rican coast. In 2020, Mr. Grosvenor was able to take in Antartica through Quark Expeditions’ World Explorer vessel and in 2021 he had the opportunity to film safari and desert excursions in Namibia.
